about me

Life has a way of reshaping us through the moments we never saw coming. Me and my brother refer to these moments in life as the “Beautiful Struggle”. For me, there were three pivotal events that changed everything—forever.

Transitioning from the US Army was the first. After years of structure, discipline, and service, returning to civilian life left me feeling disoriented and disconnected. I struggled to find my place, my rhythm, and most of all—myself.

Then came unimaginable loss. I lost both my older brother, Daryle, and older sister, Tashia—two people who had been my anchors, my role models, and my greatest supporters. The weight of grief, combined with the challenges I was already facing, took a heavy toll on my emotional, physical, and spiritual health.

But out of that darkness, a new light started to emerge. Those painful experiences sparked something in me—a deeper sense of purpose and an unshakable drive to establish something meaningful while serving again in a much different capacity.

Within that pain, I found my purpose. Every product, every message, every connection we make is rooted in that mission: Resilience, healing, and growth. To empower others navigating their own battles, and to remind them they’re not alone.

Thank you so much for your support. I am grateful for you visiting my page and taking the time to learn more about me and my mission. Congratulations, you’re now a part of this journey, too!

The book also discusses Courtney’s personal journey seeking mental health support while processing the loss of his father by suicide. Fair warning-This book goes there! But the conversation is necessary to have.
